Not necessarily. We can work with your architect, or we can connect you with trusted local designers and architects (like Modulus Architects) to develop a plan that fits your vision and budget.
3. How long does it take to build a custom home?
Depending on size, complexity, and permitting, most projects take 8–14 months from start to finish. We provide a detailed timeline before breaking ground so you know what to expect at every phase.
4. What areas do you build in?
We serve Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Placitas, Tijeras, and surrounding New Mexico areas — specializing in hillside builds, desert modern, and Southwest contemporary homes.
5. Can you build on land I already own?
Absolutely. Whether you already own land or are still searching, we can evaluate your site, review utilities and access, and guide you through zoning and site prep requirements.
6. What’s included in your management or builder’s fee?
Our management fee covers coordination of bids, scheduling, supervision of trades, quality control, documentation with banks and inspectors, and full project management through Certificate of Occupancy.
7. How do you handle budgeting and cost changes?
We provide transparent cost breakdowns and only move forward on approved change orders. You’ll always know your budget status and receive real-time updates throughout the build.
8. What kind of warranty do you provide?
All new homes come with a 10 year structural, 2 year systems and a 1-year workmanship warranty, plus manufacturer warranties on products and finishes.
9. Can I choose my own finishes and materials?
Yes this is definitely an option.
10. How are inspections and permits handled?
We coordinate directly with your county or city to obtain all necessary permits and schedule inspections, ensuring your home meets or exceeds code requirements.
11. Do you also handle remodels or additions?
Yes. In addition to custom homes, we take on major remodels, additions, and full home renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor living spaces.
